Corporate to Called

On the 12th of every month we open up our business reports.

When asked how people found success, or what they see true success is you're going to hear so many different stories on days like today.

And this to me, is my success, this picture here is me "making" it. As much as I loved the corporate world and the "success" from it, I was burnt out, I was unhappy, and I was missing these moments with my children. Six years ago I didn't believe in myself, I didn't believe that there was another way. I thought the only way was to constantly juggle multiple hustles, which only led to further disappointment and burnout. I was not well mentally or physically. This spilled over into my marriage and my ability to be the mom my girls deserved.

And then came this little box with BIG hopes. Life for our family would drastically change. I wasn't ever going to leave a corporate job behind for a hobby leaving that behind meant I found security, nothing shiny or sparkly and definitely no hype. I needed something that I didn't start at zero every single month I needed something that I could easily show others that it could be done.

And they started to show up, they started to see, the changes in me, my happiness, the time freedom, and they asked.

It's the single mom who came to me when  she lost her job. She had no plan, she simply said "that's why I asked you to lunch". That was two years ago, and that Mama has become one of my absolute best friends, she found her lifeboat, but what she will tell you she found was a support system, she found Faith, and she found her purpose. She isn't the same person I met years ago. She's fought so hard and I continue to watch her grow.

She's going to make it out, just like so many have.

I never once had to hype this up, I was open and honest with her. I gave her the truth for what it was. I told her the life she saw that day would never be the same again.

I will say this over and over that the truth is enough here.

It's not just stories of stay at home moms, or network, marketing burnouts, it's clinicians, it's business professionals, it's business owners, it's men, it's teachers and realtors.....the list goes on and on of people that have found success and freedom in ways they never thought possible.

Or perhaps they were skeptical like I was. My husband was the one who overheard someone else's story and looked at me and said "why aren't you doing this?"

Maybe that's where you are, maybe you see it, maybe you're curious.

Maybe it's for you and you just need to hear the Truth.
