Calling people hypocrites for posting about Charlie but not every other tragedy completely misses the point.
No one is saying Charlie's life was more important than anyone else's. People are sharing about him because he BOLDLY lived out his faith and stood for what they believe so strongly in.
His loss is deeply personal to them, his voice and wisdom carried a message that was deeply felt.
School shootings or any tragedies taking away another's life is pure evil and always is immensely heartbreaking, but if your first response is to politicize grief, you're missing the bigger picture.
This isn't about left or right. It's about good versus evil.
Instead of pointing fingers, humble yourself, look in the mirror, and ask yourself how you can be part of the change this world needs.
We may not love the world our kids are being raised in… but that only makes me want to fight harder for change. We will never surrender.
We may not fix everything overnight, but we can plant courage, kindness, and conviction in their hearts.
And Lord give this woman the strength to lead knowing her husband’s legacy WILL NEVER be forgotten.
